The presence of the Holy Spirit and fear of the Lord guarantees access to divine secrets and ideas. His presence further inspires the manifestation of these ideas. Living a crooked life is denying yourself access to divine agenda; 1Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”.
Daniel lived a life of purity, he deliberately made a choice not to defile himself with strange food and vanities of life because of the fear of the Lord, and this qualified him access to divine secrets. The heathens gave eleven startling testimony about Daniel and the first they said was about the Spirit of God: “There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father–your father the king–made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers”, Daniel 5:11. Further in V12, 14 “Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation. I have heard of you, that the Spirit of God is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you”.
Joseph too had access to divine secrets; Genesis 41:38-39 “And Pharaoh said to his servants, Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God? Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you”. The Spirit of God was the determining factor.
When dispute arose in the first church in Jerusalem, Peter the leader asked the duty to be delegated to chosen people. The first major criteria is “being filled with the Holy Spirit; Acts 6:2-3 “Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business”.
Apostle Paul had access to abundance of revelations, 2Corinthians 12:7 “And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations . . .”. With the presence of the Holy Spirit in you, you too can operate in divine secrets and ideas if you will determine to live pure before God. God is looking for people in our generation whom He will project to the world through access to divine secrets and ideas.
Prayer point: Holy Spirit grant me access to divine secrets and ideas in Jesus name.
