V 1-6 “When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, the LORD has done great things for them. The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him”.
Restoration comes after something has been lost. There are situations were virtues have been stolen from our lives by the enemy. Some of these virtues were stolen when we were young or when we have not come to the knowledge of Christ. On the other hand, men have lost some of their virtues through carelessness and sin. For example, anybody that is engaging in fornication or adultery is deliberately giving the devil leeway to attack him or her.
The God news is this, Acts 17:30-31 “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead”; whether it was the scheming of the devil or we lost it deliberately, God is promising restoration today. Jeremiah 1:12 “Then the LORD said to me, you have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word”. Isaiah 44:26 “Who confirms the word of His servant, and performs the counsel of His messengers; who says to Jerusalem, ˜You shall be inhabited,” to the cities of Judah, ˜You shall be built,” and I will raise up her waste places”. The Lord will perform His word in your life in Jesus name.
Prayer point: Father, divinely restore all lost glory and virtues in Jesus name.
