GOD MY DELIVERER (Acts 12:1-11)

There are situations where humanly speaking, we give up that nothing good can come out of the situation, but God in His infinite mercies, chooses such situations to show forth His power to mankind. Peter was in such a situation. Because God was using them mightily, the Jewish leaders were envious of them and they laid violent hands on them. Herod the king at that time arrested and killed James. When he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter with the intent of killing him. Peter was caught and thrown in the prison. Peter himself had given up hope of ever coming out of the prison alive. After heaven was called upon, God supernaturally intervened and Peter was released from the prison of the enemy by the power of the Lord.

A former president of Nigeria was cast in prison, he was to be killed but God said it was not time for him to die and not only was he released from the prison, the man that wanted him dead died in his stead and the man even went on to become the president again.

What is that situation that you yourself have concluded that you can never come out of. It may not be you directly but to someone close to you, you have concluded the case that no remedy. I want you to know that the Lord specializes in such situations to show His supremacy over satan and all the power of the enemy.

If God has not concluded about you, do not conclude yet. If the world has said it is over for you, put your trust in God and believe Him for a turn around. Where there seems to be no way, the Lord shall make way for you in Jesus name. Psalm 124:5 “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped”.

Prayer point: Father Lord deliver me in Jesus name from every prison the enemy might have put me.
