OUR GOD; A WAY MAKER (Exodus 14:1-30)

Our God is a way maker even where there is no way. He specializes in making impossibilities possible to benefit His children and to shame the devil. The expiry date for the servitude of the Israelites in Egypt has come but Pharaoh was not willing to let go. Romans 9:17 “For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth”. Pharaoh never knew what he was up against but he was soon to know.

After the ten plagues which culminated with the death of all the first born, the Israelites were asked to go but the Egyptians soon changed their minds and pursued them hotly, unknown to them, it was all going according to God’s plan to totally annihilate them for the sake of the redeemed.
When the heat was turned on by the Egyptians, the Israelites cried to Moses and he allayed their fears that God would deliver them. But within Moses, he too did not know what to do, it was God’s response to him that revealed this v14-15 “The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. And the LORD said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward”. The Lord made the red sea to part before the Israelites and they crossed on dry ground. And when the Egyptians made to follow them, they perished.
Do you see yourself in the same situation the Israelites were before God intervened for them? Just as it ended in praise for them, it will end in praise for you too. All battles pursuing you hotly from behind shall all be destroyed and every obstacles like the red sea before you, the Lord shall part in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Father Lord make way of deliverance for me as You Lord did for the Israelites in Jesus name.
