Another important way we can become recipient of supernatural blessing from the Lord is serving in spirit and in truth. V25-26 “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days”. God promised His children that if they worship and serve Him, He God will bless their bread and water. This means that He will bless the works of their hands and whatever they do to prosper.
Not only that, God promise them protection from the enemies for serving Him, V27-28 “I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before you”. God supernaturally fought their battles, gave them great victories and put their fear in the hearts of their enemies.
Proverbs 10:22 “The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it”. God is ever ready to bless His children but it is only those He can trust, those that are ready to serve Him in spirit and in truth that He will bless because His blessings are irrevocable. Not only will He release supernatural blessing upon you if you serve Him genuinely, there are some fringe benefits that follows this blessing, among which is divine protection. When you decide to serve God in spirit and in truth, the blessing of God will surely come upon you. Indeed serving God pays.
