THE AARON MINISTRY Exodus 4:10-17

As individuals, we all need the Aaron ministry in our lives. As powerful as the ministry of Moses was, he couldn’t have achieved such great success if Aaron was not there. The moment God calls to ministry, He at the same time raise some person(s) to be the burden bearer which is the Aaron ministry. After Moses gave numerous excuses why it shouldn’t be him that God will use, God brought Aaron into the picture as burden-bearer for Moses; V14-15 “So the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and He said: Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do”.

The first sign to notice about this kind of person is that they too have received the vision with joy and they know what their input must be. God did not tell Moses to go and meet Aaron but that Aaron is coming out to meet him with gladness. They are not ready to usurp authority because they understand what they are called to do.

Also, they are ready to obey and defend all instructions given to them with a sincere heart. They are ready to serve you with their means wholeheartedly. Aaron was older than Moses but it was no issue to him at all. V16-17 “So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God. And you shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs”.

Although God made Moses as a God unto Aaron, he never lord it over him in life. We are not to lord it over the people that God has called to come and bear the burden with us but to respect them accordingly. Your boss in your office can be your Aaron it doesn’t matter; the important thing is he performs his duty to you.

Prayer point: By the power in the blood of Jesus I command all my Aarons to appear in Jesus’ name.
