Among the many ways the Lord prove His omnipotence is showing He has powers over the enemies. The enemy may achieve temporal success but it is not final. The Lord always hold the final card, in fact the word buttress it in Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”.
In our text for today, V5-8 “The voice of Jehovah breaks the cedars; yea, Jehovah breaks the cedars of Lebanon. He also makes them to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of Jehovah goes through flames of fire. The voice of Jehovah shakes the wilderness; Jehovah shakes the wilderness of Kadesh”. The voice of the Lord can deal with any issue. Cedars are powerful trees and the only natural occurrence that breaks it is thunder. The voice of the Lord is compared to doing this too. The voice of the Lord can even penetrate fire and also shake the wilderness.
Do not look at any situation in your life as strong that God can’t handle. When He utters His voice, all those challenges will melt, no matter how powerful they seem. Job 5:12 “He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot carry out their plans”. God is all powerful and that is the God you serve. What is the enemy that is standing against you? Seek God to utter His voice against them and they will soon disappear.
Prayer point: Father Lord, send Your word into my life to settle my case in Jesus name.
