Many don’t miss faith in the believing part, they think right too but are often defeated in their utterances; they use their mouth to say negative things about themselves. The right sequence is believe right, think right and confess right.
In our text, Jesus cursed a tree and it surprised the disciples that it has dried up just twenty four hours later. Jesus then made a profound statement, V 23-24 “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”. Jesus implied that, say what you mean and mean what you say. Because what you say, if you believe it, will definitely come to pass. Jesus Himself in heaven will work with whatever we say here on earth, Hebrews 3:1 “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus”.
Jesus attached an important clause though in verse 25 and 26 that it is important to forgive so that our prayers will not be hindered.
However there are instances that looks like answers are delayed; we must continue to hold on, Luke 18:1 “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint”. Do not give up on God, even if it seems all is lost, God will work it all out in your favor.
Prayer point: I decree my seasons on testimonies has come in Jesus name.
