V22-23 “And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: and I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn”. God sent a strong message to Pharaoh to let His children go but he refused. Because of this, God slew their firstborn and they quickly allowed them to go. Even at that, he was still obstinate, he and Special Forces pursued after the Israelites and God destroyed them totally in the Red sea. Until when Pharaoh and his army died did the Israelites enjoyed total deliverance from bondage and slavery.
Until vengeance is fully executed, our breakthrough is not in view. Many destinies are being molested and humiliated for nothing. But the day you cry unto God desperately, He shall fight for you, Luke 18:7-8 “And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” However in your desperation, you must always call upon God in faith.
Vengeance prayer has been missing in prayer of recent among Christians and that is why the enemy is having a field day. Isaiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” Fasting as an instrument of deliverance is primarily to set people free. Fasting coupled with prayer enhance speedy delivery of vengeance and if it is delayed, wickedness will thrive; Ecclesiastes 8:11 “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil”. Jesus buttressed this point by saying in Matthew 17:21 “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting”.
Jeremiah 46:10 “For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates”.
Prayer point: I release the curse of the Lord upon whatever or whoever has put me in bondage.
